A:

Yes it snows in Israel, but mainly in the higher elevations such as the Golan heights and Mt. Hermon.  It has been to snow perhaps once or twice per season in Jerusalem but not for long.  Other areas , such as the Judea hills have snow occasionally, but only in the months of December and January, usually.  It is not considered a very unusual event in the higher elevations, but you won't see snow along the coastal areas such as Tel Aviv or Haifa.  But it is a beautiful sight when it does. Perhaps you will get lucky a see snow while you are visiting!  Have a Great trip and say hello to all the wonderful people of Israel while you are there!
