My floors are 7 years old..now when I damp clean it, it leaves a film on the floor..I hear you have to clean it with Vinegar

Hardwood floors occasionally have to be resealed. That means that you may have to empty the room and reapply polyurethane top coat. My neighbor had her floors done over ten years ago and they still look great but she's never cleaned them with anything other than oil soap. She also occasionally applies some floor wax but maybe only twice a year. School custodians apply paste wax to floors and use a floor buffing machine to keep the floors shiny in spite of high traffic.
