Cigar tube crafts

I have a bunch of cigar tubes in various colors...how can I use them for a craft with my preschool class??

If they are metal...poke holes in the top and put a string thru the whole. Tie a knot in the bottom- then screw the tops on, tie the strings to a chopstick and then make a loop at the top to hang it! WIND CHIME!

Or, you can cut cardboard out in a square the length of the tubes..glue them down and put felt on the bottom of the cardboard: Trivets!!

Turn off the television and teach your children how to think.

Or you can let the children decorate them with something (glitter, beads, etc.) and voila, crayon holders! Or snack dispensers (Cheerios, Kix, M&Ms).
