Dream big, and reach for the stars!

Hi Bartles, Try going to an allery doctor. I had what the doctor thought was some type of sinus problem. Turned out it was allergic rhinitis. I was forever sick with clogged sinuses, and fevers. Go right away, as allergy season is upon us. I am sure an allery specialist can help you. Stardust

Sinus- Heat is the answer. I have has the problems with sinus for years. Bad stuff. to have. And yes, it does become chronic. But HEAT is the answer. Yet, my doctor never told me to use heat. I have used all the prescriptions available and none work, but l have come down to the simple treatment. Use lots of saline solition in the nose everyday. You can use the store brand but "Ocean" is very good.Since Claridan came out as generic "Loratadine" I take it daily and it works. If the sinus is real bad and the Loratadine does not work quickly I will then take Tynol-for Sinus Allergy also. But the real help you can depend on is HEAT. Any form of heat across the face bones and the nose. I have a little Cherry Pit Pac that heats in microwave and I place on face bones and nose and that is the quick relief. It will break up thatsinus drainage and the headache is gone. At the first sign of sinus headache use heat. This website you can find what might help you also. www.cherrypitpac.com/ -26k Of crouse, if you have infection you should see a doctor, but I often prevent it from getting infected by using the heat to rid the sinus cavities of that mucus. Hot cloths, and showers help but the cherry pit pac holds heat for longer time. There are others types heating pads on the market that are filled with other fillings that are very good but I do not have the name. You find them in the mall. You can also buy the jell filled ones at the drug store. Hope this helps.

Try using a prescription nasal spray every day, like Omnaris or Nasacort.  Your Doctor can suggest one that is best for you.  It has really helped me but you have to spray it in your nose every day. Also, if you have allergies I would suggest taking an over-the-counter antihistamine like Zyertec or a generic equivalent.
