Good question...

My folks gave me a telescope in fifth grade. I was in a "space phase" then, and it was really expensive, and I've been trying to save to get one for months. When I saw it under the tree it was one of the best moment of my life.

I've had some really good presents since, though.

A tie between two items my parents gave me on separate years. One was a huge 6CD/radio boom box (in black) where the speakers on the side separated from the middle unit. Another was a "grab bag" of girly stuff - cute books, a little makeup, pencils with inspirational sayings, etc...

Getting married to my wife (we got married two days before Christmas).  She's awesome!

Besides that, I got a digital camera once that was really awesome.

Hey Josh

The best Christmas present I ever got was a pair of roller skates when I was 9 years old. They were the kind you strap to your shoes!! (I'm 42 now)! Trouble was, it had snowed the night b4 so I couldn't go out on them as the snow was at least 6 inches deep, and it didn't clear until a week or so later, but it didn't matter, I was thrilled with such a lovely present!
