Don't torture people with that pink stuff, nobody will drink it. Buy a good quality eggnog and put enough bourbon in it to make it very interesting. Stir it well and sprinkle nutmeg on top. It doesn't have to be made until the very last minute, very easy and expectedly Xmasy.
