No it isn't wrong at all. You simply have to realize that this is a sensitive subject in many families and that there isn't always a way to solve the problem so that everyone is happy.

Sounds like you are a family that spends quite a bit of time together so perhaps you should think of alternating when it comes to Christmas. One year at your parents and the year later at home. You need to come to some sort of compromise even though you have every right to have Christmas at home.
