Why Christians love and support Jews?

Why Christians love and support Jews even knowing that the Christian Bible says the Romans killed Jesus, though Jews ... The Second Vatican Council in 1963 officially exonerated the Jews as the killers of Jesus. ...then what is the point of loving them...they are the killers from the centuries...they are the one whom the GOD will never mercy.

There are horrible little people here. Watch out!
(deleted account)

Not all of the Jewish people hated Jesus or wanted him dead. Many believed He was who He said He was, the only Begotten Son of God born of a Virgin.. and there are many Jewish people who still believe Jesus is their Saviour today.  The Jews are God's chosen people according to the Bible. God will show His mercy to whoever He will.  So whether they are responsible for killing Jesus or not, believing in Him or not, how will it help us as Christian to hate them?  It won't.

God did not give me the spirit of fear, but that of power and of love and of a sound mind.  2nd Timothy-1:7.

Revelation 7-In this chapter we see the protection going on.  Some people are going to be spared from this great judgement-some believers will be spared.  Who are they?  They are the 144 thousand Jews, 12,000 from every tribe.

Verse 2and 3 says, the Jews will be sealed, they cannot be harmed.

Verse 9- says, there were so many Jews preaching the gospel they could not be counted.  They were standing before God, clothed in white-praising Jesus.  Where did they come from?  They are the 144 thousand Jews who will be saved.

Now I have a question for you.  Who gave the Vatican Council the authority to exonerate the Jews.  Don't you think that God is in charge here, and He does not need help from the Vatican.  Have a blessed day and walk in the shadow of the Lord.

You are so correct Deborah.  Whom God chooses, whether they be Gentile, Jew or Infidel, we have no right to condem them.  It certainly does not help us along our Christian walk if we pick out one sect of people to hate.  God loves the Jews, and He proves it in Rev. Chap. 7.  Take care and have a blessed day.

There are numerous ways to answer your question. But I will approach it this way, because it is obvious from your question and that you do not know God at all. You don't seem to have the remotest idea of just how deeply He loves and forgives. You have never tasted His mercy and looked into His eyes of love. He is NOT a man. While He made all of us in His image. He is NOT like us in so many many ways. You can't project your bitterness on Him. For all the days you have spent hating others for what they done to those you love, I challenge you— take some time to truly reflect upon Him. Look into His face and press your ear to His heart. I know how to find Him by reading the Old Testament. However, it is far clearer in the New Testament. Both of which Muslims says are "Holy" books. If you want to become more like those whose lives you hate, keep hating. If you really, truly want to know God's heart on a matter—you'll have to get on your knees from the heart and look deeply into His face.

Lastly, I'm not completely stupid. From your keyword search, you are looking for people you hate to target. I could have ignored you.

God's richest blessings on you, for that is exactly what He desires to give.

Peter

It's true that the Jewish leaders at that time persecuted and eventually caused the crucification of our Lord, Jesus Christ.  However, we must always remember that He died for ALL OF US and our sins.  It was our sin...the sin at that time and prior as well as the future sins yet to be committed for which He chose to sacrifice Himself.  There were also many, many Jews who willingly followed Christ.  Let's not forget the many sacrifices they made in His name, as well.  They chose to keep Him alive with us all by passing His deeds and words down through the generations.

God loved us all equally.  He knew what Man would do to His son and He sent Jesus anyway.  It was the only way to offer us salvation and yes, the price was high.  There is no way to tell which side you would have been on given those times and circumstances.  We all like to think that we would have followed Jesus, but there's no real way to tell.  That is why He came for ALL of us.

Catholics, Jews, Protestants, etc. must all exist in this world together.  We have different viewpoints on how best to worship and glorify our Lord.  However, we all agree that it is the same Lord.  The Jews who follow the old ways will be judged in accordance with the old ways.  I say more power to them because that was even harder to accomplish.  Christ taught us about love and forgiveness, even in the most dire of circumstances.  As Christians, we are called to do this and help bring Christ out in others, not persecute them for differences.

How sad you support hate for the Jews.  You are deeply indoctrinated, t11891, in asking "what's the point in loving" the Jews.  Please look up the dictionary explanation of zealot.  Then look in the mirror.  Which image should ANYONE love?  We all have choices.  Chow.
