MRankens, think on these things.  In the example of Matthew 12:36-37 The Messiah was speaking of words from the heart (idle words), but when people's words do not match their actions, then the actions speak louder.
Paul and Timothy or any Apostle, they all have the same mind as Messiah.

1 Corinthians 2:16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Messiah (and he has the mind or Spirit of YHVH).

It is not wrong for the living to mourn the Messiah. When Scripture says let the dead bury the dead, it means let the Spiritually dead bury the Spiritually dead, and has no bearing on the Spiritually Living at all.

There is nothing wrong with recognizing birthdays, but I do not celebrate them. However, the deciding factor in any celebration is whether it was and is now being used to worship a pagan god in YHVH's righteous name. This is an unacceptable blending of unrighteousness with Righteousness.

Deuteronomy 12:30-31 (excerpt)
. . . . . . .  enquire not after their (pagan) gods, saying, How did these nations serve their (pagan) gods? even so will I do likewise (unto YHVH).
31 Thou shalt not do so unto the LORD thy GOD: . . . . .

1John 3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

Yes, Mari, a Righteous YHVH can not afford to give immortality to an unrighteous person no matter how many times they have been baptized or profess that they believe that Jesus is the Son of God.

Yes, Mari, it is actions that speak louder than words.

Thanks !

Dear MRankens, I am afraid that you have jumped to a wrong conclusion.

YHVH does not expect His future children (images) to be perfect; YHVH expects them to seek it (perfection). There is no such thing as a perfect person. However, most people assume (you know what that means) that YHVH expects perfection by man's definition of perfection. YHVH has a different definition of perfection, and it is any person who can reject (repent of) SELF-centeredness (Sin) in favor of YHVH-centeredness (obedience through Love). YHVH does not judge our past failures; YHVH judges our Spiritual potential (intent of the Heart) and desire (Love of YHVH) to become like Him (recreated in His Righteous Image).

True Perfection (Click Here)

Afterall aren't children (Images) supposed to resemble their parents (In this case YHVH)?

WE are to follow Messiah's example, and Messiah prayed directly to YHVH.

1Peter 2:21 For even hereunto were ye called: because Messiah, also, suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:

Matthew 6:9
After this manner therefore pray you (Believers only): Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name (reputation).

Luke 11:2 And he said unto them, When ye pray (to YHVH), say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy (Righteous) kingdom come (the same one with Messiah as "King of Kings"). Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth.

The reason people are taught that they cannot pray directly to YHVH is so that they will become dependent on Priests (false prophets), and the beast churches.  This effectively removes them from YHVH, and in so doing they give up their relationship with their Creator Father.  Messiah's job is to teach US by example.

YHVH will not listen to the prayers of the SELF-centered, but YHVH listens to the prayers and Spiritual groaning of Righteousness Seekers (YHVH-center believers). In other words, YHVH listens to HIS Children (Chosen Few) who have received the Gift of YHVH's Holy Righteousness SEEKING Spirit (mind-set).
