What is your own opinion verses the Truth ...

I believe a person can be truthful.  The more we look at our conscience, the more we see ourselves with the view God sees us!  But it takes effort and sacrifice.  It also takes genuine search through Scripture and the teaching of the Magisterium of the Church.

As for donations to Churches:  when abuse is obvious it is not a sin to "not" give. 

Churches have councils to oversee what is going on, even small churches do this.  When we have questions we can always sit in a parish council meeting.  It is our obligation.

When we live in an area where there are no Churches and we are faced with  making decisions, we must follow our conscience.  God will always enlighten a soul in search for the truth.  It is the soul that wants to do everything by itself that gets  lost.

However when we can, we share what we have.

# 1.      Jesus said "go and teach all nations".  
# 2.     Jesus started his Church when he said to Peter "Thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build MY Church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it."
We see in Acts that Peter has taken the leadership role of the disciples. He is the one whom Jesus entrusted his power here on Earth. We then see numerous times when Paul mentions the Church in his writings.

In the Holy Bible, God says don't debate my word or my anointed ones for in doing so you hinder your "  Blessing's  "   so why question God's word and it may be harder to accept the truth because in this day and time we have too many different translations .  talk to God yourself thru reading the word in kjv  bible. amen.

The truth is in your heart, if not you need to change the way you look at things.  But why ask the question when you finish it with your own opinion, i.e. what you think.  Hum.

Are you still at this man? lol. Why don't you get off your computer and go love somebody. I haven't been on Yedda in prob six months, and here you are still pretending to ask a questions and just rambling on and on and aggravating non Christians, and making it harder for us, who are out there trying to evangelize, to reach them.

Build yourself a concrete bunker, get your prophetic end times chart out, and wait for the Rapture. Please stop this non-sense, you have made no progress. none.  

The Scripture is the word of God.

Surely, I have an opinion with details, but, my opinions will not get me to Heaven. God has a plan and He is very active at it. Now, I have my ideas and you have your,but, who has the best one?

Rules cited don't make good Christians, Muslims or Jews or Pagans for that matter...perhaps I'm wrong but, golden rule; not, cited but, lived makes a good whatever ,....Yes?  Love one another ..is citing more rules but, lived by each and every one makes a good whatever label.....Yes?

I believe that we are to gather together to lean and share, and I believe that it is necessary to follow not only the New Testement but the old as well.  God said for us to take our offerings to the store house (church) and He would pour out blessings upon us from heaven that we cannot contain.  He also said that He has not seen the rightous forsaken or their seed begging bread.

It seems from the writings I have read of yours you may have got yourself caught up in a tad bit of self rightousness, avoiding the teachings you would receive in the church because you disagree with them, or anyone telling you that you could be wrong in the way you preceive the word of God.

There are people in my church going that I disagree with, but I allow the Holy Spirit to direct me in my decision as to what to do with it.  Many times it is simply a misunderstanding on my part.  Searching the Scriptures is a sure way of finding one's mistakes.  I don't believe the Bible is a sword that should be used to slaughter the spirit, or even bend the spirit of another.

It is better to sit on the church pew with a few hypocrites than to spend eternity in hell with all of them.
