A:I remember once being with a roommate which at first I despised an we turned out to be best friends. I can't really tell you how to screen them , I guess like mentioned tidiness is important but you never know how can you tell a person if he is tidy? Try and see if he left another apartment before joining you and ask him why did he leave there. I guess in these situations it's about a pure gut feeling.
