Not only do I not know what's going on, I wouldn't know what to do about it if I did.

In previous elections, I didn't give it that much consideration, but now I certainly will put quite a bit of thought into it. It scares me to think that Dick Chaney was 1 heart beat away from being President, and I would not want Huckabee to be President.

Live simply, love generously and  care deeply.

In choosing the candidate for President, one should put a lot of importance of the running mate because the Vice President should have the qualities and the experiences that complement the President.  The Vice President will play a big role in policies and future plans of the President. He will be a big influence on the President because the President will ask the opinion of the Vice President.

Visualize the Vice-President as one who is capable of doing the job of the President in case of the President's death.  Being a Republican I visualize John McCain as President and Mitt Romney the Vice-President.  YOur choice may be different but you are free to choose.
