ya know a chimp or ape as this monkey is called at 178lbs. is an ape. chimps are smaller but still a wild animal. when i was in my 20s there was this guy , his girl and in the backseat of this convertable a chimp. wearing the same out fit as the driver and being on a little pot we thought this was the funniest thing on the planet we got to know the guy and found out when he took his pet out. and we would never fail to be amused. as a repairman i was in about 10 homes a day and once entered a home found this chimp in a cage that took up the whole room and this chimp was the saddest thing i ever saw in my life the lady of the house said they really couldn't let him out of his cage at all as he was destroying the home, it stunk to high Heaven and did nothing but prevent this family from enjoying a night in their own home. they contacted zoos and animal kingdomes but no one would take the chimp stating that now with zoos getting away from cages and to a more natural envirorment that our monkey wouldn't last a week as he wasn't adapted to the "WILD" and was poorly trained to live in a house. i was moved by this lady's dilemna and saw there was no way out. i never was in that house again but passing it one day was able to look in the window and the cage was gone
