Which came first, the chicken, or the egg?
The chicken. It takes a chicken to lay an egg.
The egg, so you can get the chicken.
When have you ever seen a egg show up and it hatch without setting on it and you get a animal? God created the animals not eggs to hatch into animals.
The egg, which was laid by a pre chicken like animal. The embrio in the egg sported due to some slight change in the DNA. These changes would have had to have happened many thousands of times to finally make the animal we look at and identify as a chicken.
Definitely the egg, which was laid by an almost- or proto-chicken. That's how evolution works, small changes over time.
