Chemistry Question

Is 2% stabilized chlorine dioxide effective as a disinfectant without mixing it with activating crystals? The crystals are no longer available for sale, and I used this mixture to disinfect my parrots' cages and fruit. Thanks.

Yes for the fruit.  Disinfect the cages with diluted bleach and rinse well.  Just about 6 oz bleach per gallon.
