My girlfriend and i have a very good close and loving relationship. we both still teenagers. she told me that she cheated on me and she really regrets it and it will never happen again,so i have forgiven her but i cant seem to trust her. by the way she told me this a month ago. i want to trust her again but i need some advice on how to trust her again. can u help me please. and is it possible to make sure she doesnt do it again?

Hey Joshyboy,

I wish that I could give you a reasuring answer. The thing is that the saying 'once a cheater, always a cheater' runs true most of the time. If your girlfriend has done it once, then there is always going to be the chance that she could do it again. As far as trusting her again. That will take time and is something that she will have to gain back from you.

To be honesty with you let it go everyone cheats at one point of time but even you in a small way may have cheated and didn't know that's why it may have lead to that . look every relationship has its ups and down and regrets but when someone heart is with that other person no one can come between it your both young and still experiencing life so things are going to happen im not saying that your just suppose to accept it but learn from it and im sure if she love s you the way you say she does im sure she wouldn't want to hurt you
