Cheap alternative things in london

Me and my boyfriend are two 19 year old university students who live in loughton, Essex. We're looking to do something cheap during the holidays thats different, and accessable preferably by tube. We've tried all the usual things like the cinema, pubs, eating out, and both arn't particularly keen on museums or similar things. What sorts of alternative things are there to do?

My private list includes

London Eye, Active8 in Hyde Park, sailing in Hyde Park lake, Portobello and Camden markets (you don't have to buy, just enjoy the atmosphere) and many free festivals.

it's spring - so the parks are free and blooming fantastic. if you want a taste of the wild try the more natural richmond park or hampstead heat.

the east-end is brilliant - try the spitalfileds / bricklane / columbia flower market area over the weekend (market day is sunday, party nights - friday and saturday) - best people watching in the world and an incredible vibe overall. and you can enjoy all that without spending too much.
