Be Blessed.

Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity (Love), I am become as a sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.

Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vauneth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seekth not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in truth; Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. Charity never faileth.

And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is (Love) charity.

Change or more of the Same???????

How can John Mccain and Sarah Palin say they represent change when they are using the same Swift Boat tactics against Obama, that George Bush used in the race against John Kerry? This sounds like the same old George Bush politics to me. Can we afford 4 more years of the same?

America, don't let this happen this time around!!!!!!!

Money is better than poverty, if only for financial reasons.

I agree with you. I saw these tactics being used yesterday by Sarah Palin, and I found them to be absolutely disgusting. I would like someone who is supporting the GOP to defend this type of campaigning, because to me, I think it will work against them and in favor of the Democrats.

I may not be Mr. Know It All, but I knew him well and he taught me much.

Blah, blah, blah, hate, hate, hate, blah, blah, blah it's okay if we do it but they shouldn't.

As it turns out, negative campaigning has a 62% better response than does positive. It gets people's dander up. You'll see if you remove your blinders that both sides are using pretty much nothing but negative campaign ads. Try and find one single commercial where the candidate doesn't refer to his opponent in a negative manner and instead says what he will do that is good for the people of the USA. They might get around to something positive somewhere in the commercial, but I will bet the commercial starts with putting the opponent down. Watch and see, and quit being so self righteous, because Obama and Biden are doing the very same thing as McCain and Palin. That's what our political process has come down to. Why does it have to turn into hate? Guess what? It doesn't.

Here's another tip on negativism, although some folks will be angry that I clued you in. Every time you use their names in your question, reply, or in any other way you trigger an ad response. That response then posts their ad to the right of the conversation as well as bringing up at least 8 videos that feature none other than your mortal enemies McCain and Palin. So go ahead and keep asking these rhetorical hate questions and as long as you do the column will fill with ads for the very same. It's ironic isn't it? Your own hate for the way the political process works is responsible for ads that who knows how many people will click on and change their mind from otherwise voting the way you would demand. Funny.

Wow! If that's the case, no wonder Obama is ahead in the polls. There have been plenty of negative things typed out here about him.

Wasn't John Kerry ahead in the polls? Wasn't Al Gore ahead in the polls? Hmmm. Is there a pattern here? I never realized it before, but there are 2 Palin ads and a whole bunch of books and video links on the right sid! I also wonder how many people who come into these conversations do end up looking at them. Why would anyone tell these guys about that?
