Censoring comments re: the gosselins?

Why do comments keep appearing and disappearing on this article? I checked back once to follow a link, and realized that I wasn't seeing things I'd seen before. Now all but one of the original comments are missing. It also seems as though the comments that are disappearing are ones that were critical of the article.
