Ceiling Advice

The paint has peeled off on parts of my ceiling that I painted. I have sanded it but this made  the surface worse can you advise the best way to fix this and have a smooth ceiling.

Jason-

Remove all the loose paint that you can. Smooth any edges with sandpaper. Prime the entire area with an interior primer. Paint. You should be fine.

If there is something that you are not telling me, then maybe you should divulge that.
