Causes of anger

Why do people get mad at each other?  Why do we hurt each other?  Is the problem biological, chemical, spiritual ... or something else?

Comfort the disturbed Disturb the comforted

Anger is a good warm, natural emotion that brings people closer together. However society has educated us, that anger equates violence, which is absolutely untrue. Iti s the longterm suppression of anger that leads to violence, both individually and socially. Suppressing anger is cold, sick behaviour that leads to all sorts of illnesses particularly addiction anddepression when anger is turned inwards.

Society or our education system do not teach us how to deal with anger or manage it. It is regarded as socially unacceptable both at home and in school. Hence the absolute necessity for wars, at least every ten years and the racist resentments socially festered with anger control.

The best example of healthy loving anger is an early morning market or the uninhibited expression of passionate feelings. Anger can also be an excellent tool for creativity and fuel for accomplishment.

Most modern religions with their schitzophrenic attitudes to many realities of life, do not allow people the non violent expression of their anger, in healthy ways. Learning to express anger in an non-violent healthy way requires patience and is difficult for a beginner but is well worth the effort.

3 thumbs up

People get angry because they have a weak, undefined ego.  As someone once said, "No one can make me feel inferior without my permission!"  I will not be angry when I have "nothing to prove, protect or defend."  But if I do not get angry at social injustice, I am not a loving person.

Comfort the disturbed Disturb the comforted

Anger is a good warm emotion, the natural daily expression of which, brings people close together. Ignorant people like Americans for example, suppress anger until it becomes dangerous, to the point of being violent, causing disharmony in society and causing their country to go to war at least every ten years.

The problem with going around with a smile on your face all of the time, is that its not honest, not real, fake . Aside from being highly unspiritual and dishonest, it cause all sorts of maladiess such as cancer, addiction, sexual perversions and bad posture.

See the Angry Book for information.

Have a Nice Day !
