Cat suddenly pooped on bed.

Cat suddenly pooped on my daughter's bed,she went on a week vacation. The cat did this 2 days before she came home and then on the day she arrived home. The rest of the family was here at home the whole time. We played with him,fed him like ususal. Any clue why he would do this. The litter box was kept clean while she was gone.

I have a cat that does this and my vet said it is because he is unhappy that I leave.  Its sort of a separation anxiety disorder.  When I am home he does not do this, but when I leave he leaves me poop or pee in places other than the cat box.  The vet suggested prozac, but I choose not to and I got him a friend so he wont feel lonely when I am gone and I give him lots of love and attention when I am home.

I want to know God's thoughts...the rest are details

Rene, we too had this problem with one our cats.  I took her in to the vet he said it was more t he likely an intestenal virus that causes the cat to have to go quickly, not having time to go to box.  It stopped after a few days and many clean ups. Hope this helps
