Should I Cash In Mutual Funds And Put Into Savings Account?

Since the beginning of October my mutual fund value has deccreased $120,000. The book value is $505,000, but the market value is $380,000. I'm scared to death it is going to keep going lower and lower until I have nothing left. I am 42 years old and scared I'll have nothing in a few years. Should I take my losses now and put my money in savings account where at least I know it won't lose?  Is it likely that I will go below $300,000 at this rate or should things turn around and recover?
