If your goal is to lose some weight or burn calories, it is advisable to do cardio exercise first before weight lifting because it helps in preparing your body for lifting activities. On the other hand, if you focus on bodybuilding then it would be better to do weight lifting first (while you still have high-energy) and do cardio exercises the rest of the time.
