i bumped into my neighbours car a month ago and its a hire car. he is still using the car and not reported the damage. will i still be responsible or does he have to report it in so many days?
does he know it was you? If he does he should of reported it when it happened. After so long he can't report it. Then it will b a he said she said case.

How can you be sure he hasn't reported the damage yet? Is it that bad? Any damage to the car should be reported immediately . Not doing so means you are breaking the terms of the agreement. Do you think he knows it's you? I always believe in honesty just come up and say it is you I am sure it won't be bad as you think and it will probably end up better then the fear you have in your head about telling him. After all he might be insured from bumps like that?!
He should have reported. However if it was jus an accident you are not responsible.
