A:

Consumer Reports "Car Buying Guide" is a good source for safety, quality, reliability, and price. They have years of experience, car manufacturer history, and can guide you to a car you can feel good about driving. More important than selecting a suitable car is becoming familiar with rules of the road. If you are concerned about your lack of experience and feel that you should have a 5-star rated vehicle for safety, perhaps you should consider driving lessons, if you can afford them. There are a lot of people who drive less than 5-star safety rated cars everyday. Experience and using good common sense when on the road is more important than safety ratings, although car safety ratings is a good consideration. Good luck and Happy Motoring.
