Capture of 500 tons of weaponry intended for terrorists..where is it in the news?

Why didn't the capture of 500 tons of weaponry intended for the terrorist group Hezbollah make the American news? There are American soldiers stationed in Lebanon and other areas of the Middle East. Don't these stations realize that this news is important to all people who believe in democracy and freedom? What does this say about the news stations' politics? Are they as now corrupt as politicians?

Life is a one lap race. Make many pitstops.

Fox News reported it extensively but the liberal media (ABC, CBS, CNN, MSNBC, etc.) chose not to report it. I'm not a Republican but I no longer watch CNN and MSNBC. I'm starting to watch Fox News more than I ever have before.

All things are possible if you set your mind to it & dedicate yourself to what you want & never take yourself too seriously!Wink

I think the media leans toward giving Americans only "good news" since they seem to be determined to make our new President look like he has everything under control. I believe there are SO MANY issues that the public isn't informed about for fear that Obama might look like he isn't in control. It is very frustrating & somewhat scary when issues like the one you brought up come to light. It makes one wonder what else is being hidden from us. The question is how can we as American citizens stay informed about what is really going on as far as issues of our homeland safety are concerned. It is very difficult to trust our gov't when things like this come out. I wish I had an answer for you, but i do know for a fact the majority of the media in this country lean toward making Obama look like a savior, when in fact, he may very well be doing much more harm than good.

You In??

Maybe if some of the mainstream media would stop drooling over Obama for a minute, they would wake up to the nightmare unfolding under his administration.

To say nothing, especially when speaking, is half the art of diplomacy.

Israel and Hezbollah are not hot topics right now. The amount of arms that were seized on this one ship alone justifies the actions Israel has to take to protect its borders from the likes of Hezbollah, Iran, and Syria. What the Israeli navy seized was just one of many ships that transport weapons all the time. Next time the world speaks out against Israel, as far as I am concerned, they can ask themselves what they would do if they were faced with this situation on a daily basis and then think twice before criticizing Israel.
