Is the new Canon Power shot s90 better than my canon power shot a480? Because i d like to change it, and i like the old style design but i ve noticed that it hase the same 10 MP. So i really like to know if it's worth getting this new model.
I ve bought it few month ago and i can tell you i m pretty satisfied. If you are expected it to manage the image quality or low light performance of your Canon DSLR you will be disappointed. But the S90 is the best compact camera I have ever used. You do get more than one stop of performance over the Canon A480, my previous portable camera. The F2.0 lens, lower density sensor and improved software give you that.
In any case you can find a lot of reviews and comments on this site !
I don't know about the various models, but switching over from traditional 35mm I just got that Cannon Powershot A1100IS 12.1 mp and a 4 gig card for it and as far as I'm concerned it kicks ass. I do CG art, and I need a camera to capture textures, and this one gives me the size and quality I need. What more can i say.
