These are some natural candida remedies which you can try at home:

1) Yogurt has a friendly bacteria - Lactobacillus acidophilus, that kills yeast. Yogurt can be used internally. Try a syringe, frozen yogurt lollies or soak a tampon in plain yogurt.  The yogurt must have live cultures. Change every 4-6 hours. Eating yogurt (with live cultures) also helps.

2) A vinegar and water douche, but make sure to err on the side of less vinegar and more water or it will sting too much.

3) Change your body's pH level to make yourself more alkaline, (you're probably too acidic), you can do this by changing your diet and drinking more water. No sugars, white flour or foods with yeast. And no alcohol.

4) You can use honey itch relief: apply externally for about an hour at a time.

5) Oil of Oregano has carvacrol which combats yeast. Apply as often as you like until the symptoms subside (externally only).

Note : These home candida remedies can be slow acting and results may vary per person. At best they are a temporary solution (candida infections are infamous for reoccurring).
For a permanent, very quick (12 hours),  and safe solution I suggest that you visit cure for yeast infections .

Good luck and I hope the natural candida remedies help a little.

You'll know the symptoms of yeast infection will be icky, thick, off-white discharge. It's possible the infection is getting worse.

Go to the doctor or gyneacologist and ask for a prescription for Diflucan/Flucanozole. I tried all those stupid creams and foams and NOTHING helped in the LEAST! I took two 150mg of Diflucan and it was completely gone within three days. Flucanozole is the generic (just as well as Diflucan is $30 a pop), and comes in 200mg pills.

The yeast infection is caused by a pH imbalance, which makes your discharge very acidic, which is why it gets all itchy. The pill changes the chemistry and ENDS it - more than just the minor relief that Vagisil or Monistat offers.

Yeast Infection?

I have one, a yellowy-green discharge and i mean sometimes there is so much that it soaks through. & weird black specs in my discharge too. The smell is horrible and sometimes I am itchy down there. Also is there a way if i had it that I could treat it without going to the doctor.

Hi,

Home remedies for yeast infection:

- Avoiding sugar as much as possible (yeast live on sugar).
- Eating SUGAR FREE yogurt with live acidophilus cultures, at least two cups every day.
- Eat lots of garlic, which is anti-fungal.
- Apply the SUGAR FREE yogurt to the affected area for a few minutes three times every day.
- Apply crushed garlic (as pasty as you can make it) to the affected area for a few minutes, three times per day.

Following the above home remedies should have you all cured within a week. If you are still not better in a week, time to see the doctor. Best of luck!

You need to be sure that it is actually a yeast infection. If it is you can use the over the counter medication for yeast infection that women use. Just buy it in the tube, not pre -filled applicators. Apply it 3 to 4 times a day. Keep using for 5 to 7 days even if you feel better, otherwise it will come back. Eat yogurt, try not to eat sugar.

Also, a doctor can prescribe a pill that you could take.

Good luck

Candida overgrowth is rare but can be triggered by depletion of intestinal flora, usually after overuse of antibiotics. You would want to repopulate the flora by eating yougurt.

Probiotics are in foods like honey and sour yogurt, you can also get them in capsules. It's also important to lay off white sugar when you do this because sugar feeds the candida.

Sinusitis is helped by ascorbic acid(aka vitamin c) aromatherapy with eucalyptus, peppermint etc. Neti pots/sinus washes are excellent for sinusitis.
