Which Tamron Lens is the best NowaDays?

There is no BEST LENS, since each has been designed for a specific purpose--wide angle, closeup, telephoto, prime etc.  That said, a good multipurpose walk around lens would be their 28-300 Image stabilized lens. And dont forget to put a UV filter on it.  Good luck!

Proud to be a Kraut (I am German in case you are not familiar with the word "Kraut").

Live life to the fullest because you never know when it may be your last day and never, ever let anyone talk you out of an adventure you want to undertake. In most cases they are just jeleous or envious.

Earlier this year I spent $650.00 to buy the 20-270 mm Tamron zoom lens and really do not need any other lens (although I still have a couple I had from before).

It s the only one with that wide range and since I have a less than full image sensor I in effect have a 30mm to about 450 mm, not bad for versatility.
