Skim milk (regular) has 306 mg per cup.
Soy milk has 96 mg per cup, which means about a third.
Eat some broccoli, it's a better source of calcium, and is lactose free (357 mg calcium per cup)
Milk and other dairy products (except the fattiest such as sour cream and cream cheese) do indeed have lots of calcium as does broccoli and other greens. However, young adults need 1200-1500 mg of calcium per day and 2000 after age 50. (Kids need 1000-1200). That's 1-2 GRAMS. One cup of yogurt won't cut it. And most Americans should not be drinking the two quarts or more a day of milk (300 mg per cup) this would require as that would be way too many calories with their calcium. Nor can they eat 8 or more cups of green veggies. Best: pick a calcium citrate or calcium carbonate (not oyster shell, it has lead) supplement to supply your intake without having to worry you are getting your quota. If you do not get enough each day by the way your nervous system steals it from your bones to run your brain and heart, causing osteoporosis. So get your quota!!!
