Caffeine doesn't cause infertility. Many studies have been done to see whether there is a connection between caffeine and fertility, but no study that has been done and replicated has shown such a connection.

Some studies have shown that drinking large quantities of coffee (over 6 cups a day) may raise the risk of miscarriage. To be on the safe side, the FDA recommendation, like most studies I have read, is to reduce caffeine intake to 1-2 cups a day both while trying to conceive and during pregnancy.

I don't know of any studies that suggest that cafeine causes infertility.

If you'd care to expand on your question, I, or others, might be better able to help you.

Is your question based on a problem you and your partner are having, or is it a general request for information?

If your worried you can drink decaf but make sure its the swiss process since chemicals to remove caffeine can be bad.

I love coffee and tea.  So does my husband. We have 2 children.  Caffeine in no way caused any fertility problems with us.  We wanted to be pregnant, there was not long waiting to conceive.  The kids grew up just fine.  Both have their own kids without great effort as well.

caffeine in large quantities does increase the chances of being infertile. During a pregnancy or trying to conceive it is best for both to not engage in unhealthy diets. There are many mind body fertility programs available to remedy the situation.
