Why is prednisone taken before 9:00 a.M.?

I believe it is because it has something in it that will make you not able to sleep if you take it after that time. I am currently taking predisone now, and I was informed the same thing. And there were a couple of days I forgot to take it until about 11 or 12, and I honestly could NOT sleep that night.

No problem...the only reason I knew it was I asked my doctor about it when I saw it on the side of the prescription bottle!!
