My grandmother's brother returned from france after being wounded in 1918. He brought back a set of 12 postcards intended for, but never mailed due to his injury. The cards, almost certainly french, depict the stations of the cross in aquatint. The images appear to be from photos of actors portraying the events of each scene with from two to six characters, besides christ, in each. To date i've been unable to discover anything about these "carte postales" which would have required "10 centimes" to mail in their day. Help!
