The answer my friend is blowing in the wind....

I think that apple laptops are definitely the best buy right now.  Depending on what you need, I would get either a MacBook or a PowerBook.  I have a MacBook and it's fast, and does everything I would want from a computer.  However, if you want a slightly faster machine, with a larger screen, and better graphics, then the Pro is worth it.  I think that the mac operating system is far superior to windows as well.  I used a PC for many years, and there's absolutely no comparison.

I just bought a Sony Vaio and I love it. It's extremely fast and I didn't break the bank purchasing it.
