Should Bush be tried for war crimes?

Should Bush be tried for War crimes and genocide when he leaves office looking at the number of people that have lost their lives as a result of the USA invading Iraq. Does the removal of Saddam Hussein and the so called Introduction of Democracy justify the killing of so may people. How is Bush different from Charles Taylor, Paul Kagame, Jonas Savimbi, Hitler and Stalin among many other tyrants.

Hi Yancha,

Bush did not commit war crimes .  You should not compare him to Hitler and Stalin.

Hi dogbreeder,

Yes he did commit war crimes. What do you call innocent children, women and men dying because of one nation greed for oil. One doesn't need to go to University to read between the lines and understand the fact that the Iraqi war is about oil and America having control over it. Ask General Powell why he resigned from the Bush administration. If indeed the war was about weapons of mass destruction then Saddam should not have been the only dictator to be overthrown, what about the government in Iran, what about China developing nuclear technology, what about north Korea? It made more economic sense for Bush to start a war in Iraq because of oil. So when you deeply analyse the issue Bush is no different from Stalin and Hitler who used other to commit mass murders and justified it, or from Characters like Idi Amin and Paul Kagame who killed many in their countriies in the pretex of protecting them from this or that dictator. Bush is responsible for the killing of many Iraqis and many more are still dying this very minute because of bombs and guns, the question still stands should he go scot free or should he stand trial? Is he more human than other Presidents who have murdered people and believed at the time they were doing it it was in the interest of the people?

If you want to make peace you don't talk to your friends, you talk to your enemies. - Moshe Dayan

I don't think Bush is gulity of war crimes. While I do think there have been some questionable things done in the wars currently going on, I think everything up until now is the result of the terrorists' actions of September 11. I find it hard to believe that American troops, who have grown up valuing the freedom this country gives to them, are the ones who are killing innocent women and children which you refer to in a previous response. The blame needs to be properly put on the terrorists who are currently terrorizing local populations and continuing to fight American troops.

yancha...do your homework. you bitch about "innocent" iraqi citizens dying...the united states is at WAR. do you honestly think there could possibly be a zero body count? what about our "innocent" men and women who have died while fighting for operation iraqi freedom..which is something the soldiers believe in.

all so you can have your freedom of speech in order to voice your liberal opinions.
