I think you need to consider:

Your level of expertise....

Your target audience level of expertise ( amateur/professional?)

Your regional economics

How many participants you want to attract.

Whether supplies are included or not.

Whether the result of the workshop is a product the participants can use in their business or is simply for development or entertainment value.

So many variables...

Need more info - perhaps look at what similar workshops in other areas charge?

Thank you for your input Yandara,  I am just a beginning Art teacher and was asked if I could teach Art to 2 children at home for the summer and had no clue how much to charge.  A friend recommended 30.00 Dollars an Hour?  Pat

Hi Pat,

Thirty dollars per hour would be the going rate for what you are describing.

I suppose $30.oo dollars an hour is fair .

You might inquire what the budget is or what the client is willing to pay .

His Beatitude's Attitude Leaves Bush With No Latitude

The rejection of Israel as a Jewish State has permeated the highest places of political and intellectual thought amonst the Palestinian Arabs. As a result the termination of the post-Annapolis negotiations is under real threat. President Bush Leaves Lasting Legacy for Arab League

In what will probably become known as the "King David Declaration", President Bush has delivered a stark message and warning to the Arab League from the King David Hotel in Jerusalem on 10 January 2008. This message will resonate far beyond 2008 if the Arab League continues to ignore President Bush's realistic solutions for solving the refugee issue by either their resettlement in the new Arab State - not Israel - or payment of compensation in lieu from an internationally administered fund.
