Budgeting to Upkeep an Old Car

I "inherited" a car (my brother gave me his old car because he bought a new one). I want to be prepared in terms of budget. What auto parts usually get broken first?

How much should I be saving to keep a 1997 LeSaber?

Be honest and be true to yourself.

Hi,

It depends if it is still in a good driving condition, you may take it to some car repair shops and get 3-4 different estimates , and then you can decide if repairing it or reconditioning it saves you a lot of money in the long run.

Take care.
