Someone please tell these two village idiots the New Deal was a failure! And they want to resurrect it globally? We can't clear our own economic mess by throwing trillions of dollars at it and this leftist jackass is coming over to try and snow the American Congress and the American people into ponying up some more cash we don't have!
It is a global new deal that will lay the foundations not just for a sustainable economic recovery but for a genuinely new era of international partnership in which all countries have a part to play. This program of internationally coordinated actions includes six elements:
First, universal action to prevent the crisis spreading, to stimulate the global economy and to help reduce the severity and length of the global recession. Second, action to kick-start lending so that families and businesses can borrow again. Third, all countries renouncing protectionism, with a transparent mechanism to monitor commitments. Fourth, reform of international regulation to close regulatory gaps so shadow banking systems have nowhere to hide. Fifth, reform of our international financial institutions and the creation of an international early warning system. And last, coordinated international action to build tomorrow today – putting the world economy on an economically, environmentally and socially sustainable path towards future growth and recovery.
The idea of "global economy" based on credit,(which by the way started this mess) is an issue in itself! The United States has become so intertwined and dependent on other countries goods, it cannot sustain itself!
And god forbid anyone dare suggest that America needs to be less global and more domestic! The Europeans and Asians get eclectic just at the mere mention! What will happen to them? How will they survive? I just have two words to that, "Screw Them". It is time America got back to what it was and what it should be a country centered around domestic production of manufactures goods! Decrease or eliminate the corporate taxes in this country and get business and manufacturing back to THIS country! If another country wants to thrive let them follow the same model and be competitive! The bottom line is this, and it is not easy to say but it must be. American people have gotten lazy. It was easier for us to buy from Japan or China or somewhere else than producing ourselves!
Those days must be over if we are to get back to the Industrial leader this country was in the 1950's and can be again! It is the ONLY was we will begin to rebuild our manufacturing infrastructure for long term economic prosperity.
Globalization is a word used by government leaders to promote a worldwide socialist agenda! Obama and Brown are two of those people!
America MUST PRESERVE and PROTECT itself, from those who would seek to destroy our sovereignty and independence through military or economic means! And a global "New Deal" is a giant step in that direction!
