Is it just me, or did Britney Spears vma performance really look more like a nudie bar show than a pop concert?
I can't see it -- the MTV website says that due to copyright laws it can't be shown ouside the US. Can you post a link to another place to watch it?

Dude... it's like she was sweet and hot, then uuuber sexy and more hot, and not she's just grouse. I man, what happened to the girl that could dance? The dancing's like, sooo bad. What's the deal? I thought this was supposed to be a comeback or something. Whatever.
Can't even call it a nudie bar show, most of the girls in those clubs can dance (that's how they earn their money). I perform in a canton Ohio based band named Culture Shock and can tell you in my 20+ years of playing live I've never embarassed myself or my bandmates that badly. when we do a show we have to play 30-40 songs in one night correctly, she couldn't even do one?!? Not professional at all in my opinion. Time to retire Britney and give that recording contract to someone who actually has talent and deserves it! P.S. for having 2 kids, she looks pretty good though. These peeps saying she's fat need their heads examined. She's not even overweight.

I am not into her kind of music, I feel that music like this is not honest, honesty in music is important for me. This kind of music is only made to sell, to cash in. Anyways if she made a good or a bad performance is not up to me to judge. I am not an entertainer myself. And who say´s entertainers cant make mistakes like everyone else. To be honest the little that I have seen from this performance was quite all right in my opinion. Who say´s that entertainers always have to be perfect? On the other hand I could not care less if she would never make an album, or a video, or even a song again. If she would spend the rest of her day´s on a nice island enjoying her wealth. What I see in Britney is just a normal girl, who has been made with the power of the industry what she is today. Nothing but a normal girl.

This was definitely not her best performance. She looked unsure of herself while dancing and extremely uncomfortable in her costume. Unfortunately this was supposed to be her "comeback" when it was actually her downfall. I think she should have chosen a better costume (that made her look less like a hooker and more like a performer) and sung live at the least. Her dancing should be less important than her actual singing voice.
