What's up with the VMA's and Britney's preformance? I missed it. Was it good?

This was definitely not her best performance. She looked unsure of herself while dancing and extremely uncomfortable in her costume. Unfortunately this was supposed to be her "comeback" when it was actually her downfall. I think she should have chosen a better costume (that made her look less like a hooker and more like a performer) and sung live at the least. Her dancing should be less important than her actual singing voice.
I remember watching this from my Houston Heights apartments. I remember her being overweight and I believe she was lip syncing. I would say it looked terrible but that was her first performance in a while. I believe if she sticks with it she will do better.
