What is the proper way to breath when in stress?

Try bringing your hands spread or clasped above your head. That seems to give your chest more space and allow easier breathing.

Live life to the fullest. 

I read an interesting article about The Art of Living (http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2004/07/13/health/main629332.shtml) that teaches some great techniques to breathing when stressed. Hope it helps.

Try not to hyperventillate.  Usually slow, deliberate breathing - in through the nose, then out, slowly, through the mouth, works best, and could help relax you too.  Try breathing as part of meditiation for some

good stress relief.
