Breastfeeding problem?

hi, I am wondering if this has happened to any of the new breastfeeding mommies out there... ok so I mostly breastfeed my 6 week old son. There's times where he just wants to be stuck on my breast with him sucking on it and when i take it away he gets mad... I know this will turn into a bad habit because when I go to work when im busy...so any tips on how to stop this? or u may want to share your experience?

PS: I tried giving him a pacifier but he spits it out..

There are a couple things to consider, are you sure he's getting enough? If he is then this is just a soothing measure and for your sake (and the sake of your nipples) you shouldn't let him suck longer than 30 minutes on each breast. The other thing is, he could have a stomach ache, babies will suck if they have an upset stomach, it could be caused by gas pains. I'd make sure that he's getting enough, and that its not a stomach ache.
