I am 38y/o and I had a 2cm breast cyst aspirated one year ago. Dr. said fluid looked normal (it was dark greenish-black/thick and looked like something that you would drain from a car) but told me to take it to the lab anyway. I hand carried it to the lab who turns out lost it so ...no results. Just had a clinical breast exam, mammogram and ultrasound this last Friday and found the 2cm cyst is now 6 and there are several other smaller cysts in both breasts. Neither time have i had any abnormal breast pain. This time PHP said, "I don't think there is anything to do right now...just go on internet and do some research on Fibrocystic Breast disease." I did the research and realize prob nothing to worry about, but I am just curious about the change in treatment (esp. with the lack of lab results from the last time) has anyone had the same or have any insight?
