I enjoy using Yedda to ask and answer medical questions. I previously worked as a nurse but am now based from home - having just completed a long spell of breast cancer treatment.

Life has also been busy lately after the arrival of our new puppy called poppy. She's a black labarador retriever and drives us all crazy at times but we just adore the buzz she brings to the house. Last week she caused me a shoulder injury by tugging when out walking - but I can forgive that for the fun she brings.

Last month my husband invested in the Resperate device for lower blood pressure - and boy is it effective? We've discovered that it's much better overall to lower blood pressure naturally.

Other sites I like to visit are:

Breast Cancer Survivor Stories

I've blogged my way through my breast cancer treatment experiences

I'd like to gather a list of other cancer survivors - breast cancer and others - who have their own website - making their experience and treatment stories public to help and support to others

If you know of any sites like this then leave a reply here and I'll check them out.

Here's my breast cancer survivor site to start the list off.

I had a large lump almost under my nipple. Doctor biopsid, It  was positive. Had a lumpectomy. Went through 6 wks. Radiation, and 4 chemotherapy appts, 3 weeks apart. Last one is tomorrow. If you are interested, I have a blog concerning my experience at http://thoughts-of-pink.blogspot.com/ Mine is Stage 1- Not genetic- I had the BRCA genetic test. Probably environmental since I worked in a sick government building for 14 years. Get thee to a doctor quick. Speed is essential. There are different types. Biopsy is a little uncomfortable but so worth it. Take care, Barbara Duke
