I took my 2006 chevy Malibu to the dealership for ...

I took my 2006 chevy Malibu to the dealership for routine maintenance. I was told my brakes were fine but when I looked on my invoice it says my ff and rr brakes had 30-35% remaining. My question is, isn't this too low for brakes? The service tech told me if anything was wrong they would have told her. My vehicle has 42,616 miles on it.

robin you probably have about a quarter inch left on your pads i would go ahead and change and upgrade to ceramic pads but i drive a muscle car so i put heavy demands on the brakes.

Thank you Rebel for replying to my question. I returned the car to the dealership. They worked on the front brakes and I was told the back brakes were okay. 50%. I just wish I had received your reply before the brakes were replaced I thank you very much for your answer. Thanks for taking the time to answer my question.
