Botched laser treatment red hyperpigmentation on cheeks.

I have red hyperpigmentation after a botched laser treatment. It been two years and the red hyperpigmentation on my cheeks has faded only slightly. My cheeks and also have hypopigmentation due to the laser treatment. How do I get rid of hyperpigmentation? If that is what it is on both my cheeks. I feel so ugly and I can hardly look at the mirror.
