The answer my friend is blowing in the wind....

I think that it would be best for you to see if she wants to just have coffee or lunch with you... talk and see if you can get on her good side. Just warm up to her a bit. Maybe she's stressed, maybe she has made a mistake in not noticing you... etc. Maybe you can change the situation by putting in some extra effort. You can be completely honest with her and let her know that you feel like you've been really working hard, and you're wondering if you've done something wrong because you haven't gotten any promotions or anything. See what she has to say. If you feel like you're really getting nowhere with her, and that you're not going to progress in this job, then maybe it would be best to look for work elsewhere. It's only good to work in a place where people appreciate the work you do.

Hi,

Dreadlocks gave you an excellent answer (2 thumbs up). I'll just add a bit: It is time to check yourself. Try to be objective and ask yourself several questions:
1. Are you really worth a promotion ?.
2. How are you performing compared to the others ?.
3. What is your added value to the organization ?.
After answering it you'll be able to know if she is acting in a fair way or not. If she is not fair you have 4 optoions: talk to her, go to her boss, stay at that place, leave for a new / better place. If she is fair (and you simply don't deserve it) better think how to get better so you'll be on the list next time..... If you decide to talk with her the main question should be: "what do you sujest me to do in order to be in the promotion list next year ?".
