Borat's language

I've read an article about the fact that Borat's real language is actually Hebrew.

Does the text he supposably say match in Hebrew also , or is he just mumbling unrelated words?

My girlfriend is Israeli and she told me that he speaks perfect Hebrew throughout the movie, and that he says some hilarious things. 

I can't say if what he says is actually hilarious, as my command of Hebrew is rather limited.

Well, I'm Israeli and I can tell you he says exactly what the subtitles read, only in Hebrew.

Sasha Baron Cohen is the son of Orthodox Jews and his mother was Israeli.

 Jewbiquitous Yeah, we're everywhere.

"Borat" is often speaking Hebrew, but not entirely. When he is, the text does often match what he is saying. The other character, however, is not speaking Hebrew.

I'm Israeli, and I'm surprised at you all...

Although part of the movie he speaks Hebrew, he intentionally distorts the grammar, structure of sentences and gender (In Hebrew we always differ between male and female nouns, verbs etc.).

I don't know why he does it - he speaks fluent and coherent Hebrew.
