What is Borat's character viability in your opinion?
Will Sasha Baron Cohen be able to keep on with playing Borat for long, especially after the great success of his recent movie?

I saw the movie and I personally loved it. I'm always satisfied with a movie when I can get good quotes out of it (and trust me, there was some funny repeatables in that movie). I think he'll last, as long as he keeps up the funny. It's all in good fun, right? His character, though slightly offensive, is quite likable and no one's going to take his comments seriously.

The main problem is that his humour relies on spontaneous responses to his gags. Now that his new movie has become so successful there is a larger chance that people will recognise him and react differently. I also read an article that says that many of the people who participated in the movie "Borat" are now suing Fox (who distributed it), so Universal Pictures (who are financing his next film) are now afraid that they will end up with many expensive law suits.
